REPAIR EQUIPMENT FAQ's

RAS 123

How does the RAS 123 differ from the competition?

The GLASS MEDIC® RAS 123 lets operators with different skill levels produce consistent, quality results. In most windshield repair processes, vacuum and pressure are used to fill the break. The RAS system controls both cycles for you and eliminates the guesswork. Resin handling is virtually eliminated, and there's virtually no mess or risk from chemicals.

How does it work?

The RAS 123 system is designed to control many of the variables in the repair process. The vacuum is used to remove the air from the break. This is done with the resin held in the capsule, so no resin or liquid is over the damage. Once the air has been removed from the break, the pressure or filling cycle is accomplished in the most efficient manner. There is little need for manipulation of the break to remove entrapped air.

What kinds/size of damage will it repair?

The RAS 123 system will repair all types of star, bull's eye and combination breaks. The system can handle damage up to 5cm and pit diameters up to 1.5cm.
